It's late and the spell check thingie isn't working so don't laugh at me if you see mistakes...I'll try to fix them later. Thanks.
Ten Years Ago I Was.... graduated from BYU, still living in Provo, working for a vitamin company trying to decide if I should move home a get a teaching credential. (Which I did later that year...good move I think....That's were I met Derek!)
Five Things On My List To Do Today.... 1. Get Corbin off to school 2. Finish folding the laundry 3. Go to the bank 4. Organize Corbin's closet and dresser 5. Make cookies (this is just a list of things that I actually got done. There is a bunch of stuff that didn't,but we spent some time at Grandmas house which totally recharged me for another day.)
Five Snacks I Love.... 1. Fruit especially nectarines, oranges and mangos 2. Chips and Salsa 3. Wasa crackers with avacado and cucumber 4. Bowl of cereal 5. Anything caramel.
If I Was Given A Billion Dollars....Maid Service Please! Then a new house would be at the top of the list and a vacation house or two would be so fun.
Five Places I Have Lived.... 1. Stockton 2.Buena Park 3.Norco 4. Rexburg 5.Provo
Five Jobs I have Had.... 1. Dial-a-Burger 2. Fabric King 3. Joanne's Children's Clothes 4. Circle City Florist 5. Wells Fargo Bank Teller ...Those are my official five off the record I've also worked at Stans Dive in (I was the milkshake girl), Victoria's Sectret, Natural All Vitamin Co., Van Buren Florist, Wherehouse Music and the Corona School District (not in that order).
Five Things People Don't Know About Me.... (recently revised. I didn't do a very good job the first time...to tired I think) 1. I am a money stasher..I have money tucked away all over the house. Not large amounts, mostly 1's and 5's, I just like knowing it's there if I need it. 2. I can't remember the last time I ironed something for me to wear. I have a bunch of cute pants that I haven't worn for close to a year because they need to be ironed. 3. I always make complete stops at stop signs. Drives Derek cazy. 4. I can sing almost every word to almost every song from the 80's 5. I write my grocery list in the order that I shop in the store. I had the whole layout down until the store I shop at recently rearranged and it drives me crazy that my list is out of order.

Very interesting.
See, there IS an organizer in you, after all!
I am going to try the wassa crackers with avocado and cucumber...sounds good!
Thanks for sharing... and that money stashing thing... sounds like a great idea!
I love that your a money stasher. I used to be when I waitressed. Now I only stash birthday money and think "I will put it here so I won't lose it" then of course I hide it too well and have trouble finding it. But that always makes for a surprise later!
Ahhh... Maid Service! I'd have to agree! That would include a personal chef right? That would be so nice! =)
I love all of the things I learned about you. Some of them I never would have guessed.
I have got to try the money stashing thing. I am totally dependent on whether I can get to a bank or not. That can't be good!!
I Love the 5 things--I just laughed when I read that write your shopping list in the order you shop in--I do the exact thing. And...I put it on the check-out counter how it needs to go into the car so that nothing gets smashed. It drives Byron crazy when he goes with me...why can't we just put it up there like everybody else? I just don't trust those baggers...I'll end up with squooshed bread. I'm glad I'm not the only O.C.D. one in the family.
To the texas links - I arrange my items as they should be bagged as well. I thought I was alone :)
Shannon - you have a bit of a wild child in you that I did not know about. Bungee jumping? 3 times? I am such a scardey cat - I could never do that! also - do you have a form you use for your grocery list? I try to arrange them as the store is set up but I always have to make two lists then and that is too much trouble!
We must be sisters. I also organize my grocery list the same way. And I never iron, which means I never wear my favorite shirts. So sad.
But, my dear, I do believe in the california stop, which means I only slow down, and then gun it. :) Isn't your husband a policeman? Maybe I shouldn't have said that?!
Oh, and I'm always looking for money. And I usually only find it in my kids piggy banks. Yikes...
Shannon I am a money stasher too!!! When you say the "milkshake girl" it should be the BEST milkshake girl. I have yet to taste any others compete with yours!!!!
Everything you just wrote about, the last part, I do the same thing. Stashing money, not ironing clothes, your shopping list....so me. Your sound like a pretty cool person.
I owe you a few answers....sorry, it's been a busy weekend.
What have I made from Deceptively Delicious? Ummmm, nothing. I have been so focused on trying new recipes that Lauren CAN eat instead of focusing on recipes that she SHOULD eat! (Actually, I have thrown in a few baby food veggies into a few of my own recipes, but no specifica ones from the cookbook)
How is Mike handling these changes? He's been a trooper. Although, Mike has NEVER been hard to cook for. The only thing he does not like is celery. He's been very supportive of the whole thing. (He says, as long as HE doesn't have to do the cooking, he'll eat it!) I also make sure he has a few treats of his own choice in the house too...just like Derek's sugar stash in your closet!
Are those all the questions you asked?
