I wish that I could download memories or little snippets of our day as if I had walked around and captured it on film. I guess that is what a journal is for, but it would be so much faster if I could just press a send button.
The last few days I have witnessed little moments that I wished my camera was there for. Little moments that if I had run out to get the camera I would have missed.
One night after dinner the boys decided to do the dishes for me. The image of Corbin and Cooper standing on the same chair with their backs to me, their hands all sudsy and water splashing warmed my heart. Cooper wearing shorts a tool belt and a batman mask and Corbin with just dish gloves and boxers. What a cute site.
Or when I heard a sound downstairs and it turned out to be a bare Cooper sitting backwards on the potty with a bike helmet on going #2 for the first time with out my help. Oh he was so proud.
I also got proposed to by both my boys just days apart. Corbin says he will buy me 2 rings {just like daddy did}. Of course I will marry both of them rings or not.
Today I spied Corbin doing push ups in his room before getting dressed. He didn't get that one from me. That is all him.
I love when Cooper puts his arms around me and says in the sweetest little voice "I protect you mommy" then sighs and holds me tight.
These are just a few of the memories I wish I could download. It has only been a day or two and I already forget details. I know these are just little moments, but they are the moments that remind me how lucky I am to be a mom to these two boys.

These images are so precious. I have tears streaming down my face. How blessed you all are...
Love to all,
Jan
They certainly are handsome little guys! I could have done this post several months ago because I NEVER had my camera with me and when I did, I'd forget to take it out or it took so long to download and edit the pictures, it wasn't worth the time. Then I got a new phone for my birthday back in March. It actually takes better pictures than my HP camera does! And I find I have taken more pictures because I always have my phone with me. Then I just email it to myself and voila! Posted!
But I liked being able to picture these moments in my mind this time...so sweet. Especially the push ups! What a crack up!
So sweet! I love it!
Sooooo sweet.
Your boys are adorable. :)
adorable. I love those little boys and I love those little stories. Why do they grow up so fast?
It is that kind of little things that make precious memories that can warm the heart for years. I am so glad that you are making a journal of these sweet experiences.
We had such a good time with your mom and dad. What dear friends and lovely people they are.
Congrats on being a new aunt. I hope that Rebecca and the baby are doing well.
Hugs, Lura
Ohhh so sweet. I would love to go to the beach with you! Or you could come down and visit me. We'll be at Oceanside for a week from July 3-July 10. We're staying at some little beach houses. My email is on the profile page of my blog. (I think)
I'm lovin' those boys brown eyes. Great picture!
I've been having a lot of those moments too where I wish I could just have a camera rolling always. They are times to cherish.
Where are you these days? I need a post to know how you are!
